If after Jailbreaking Iphone 3g or 3gS, you want to Unlock your Iphone 3g/3gS, here is the source you can add it in Cydia “repo666.ultrasn0w.com” Here ‘o’ in Ultrasnow is actually ‘zero’. Then install ‘Ultrasnow’ from Cydia again. Finally shut off your Iphone and Put your Non-legit (T-mobile) sim in it and turn it back on, Wait for 2-3 minutes and finally you will see you T-mobile network on top left of Your Iphone 3g.

in settings/general/network i do not have the cellular data network tab – i am on an jailbroken/unlocked iPhone 2G running on the official carrier in my country and i want to disable cellular data network as it is expensive, but i would like to have mms
GO to cydia. DL the APN editing package. Go to unlockit.co.nz and choose your carrier. It will install a profile that changes your APN setting to your carrier.
