AT&T advertises that their 3g network is the fastest in the states while sprint’s EV-DO network is expected to perform well based on the spec. I have to say, when I walked through this video a few days before recording Sprint killed AT&T’s network. However, after recording two tests AT&T beat Sprint significantly. Keep in mind speeds depend on a number of factors including network saturation, location, and obstructions among many influences. So AT&T could be faster for me and Sprint could be that much faster for you.

If after Jailbreaking Iphone 3g or 3gS, you want to Unlock your Iphone 3g/3gS, here is the source you can add it in Cydia “repo666.ultrasn0w.com” Here ‘o’ in Ultrasnow is actually ‘zero’. Then install ‘Ultrasnow’ from Cydia again. Finally shut off your Iphone and Put your Non-legit (T-mobile) sim in it and turn it back on, Wait for 2-3 minutes and finally you will see you T-mobile network on top left of Your Iphone 3g.

Due to AT&T’s ridiculous restrictions on their flimsy and embarrassing 3g network, Skype calling on an iPhone is disabled unless you are connected to a WiFi network. This tutorial shows you how to work around that barrier and enable Skype calling over a 3G network. You will need a jailbroken iPhone 3GS or 3G with Cydia installed.
Go to Cydia. Under “Manage”, select “Sources”. Hit “Edit” and then “Add”. In the URL typeface, enter “www.sinfuliphonerepo.com” and hit “Add Source”. After the source installs, go to “Search” and type “3g un” in the search field. Select the second app: “3G Unrestrictor Cracked”. Install and confirm the app. After the app installs, open the app and add Skype to your listed of 3G unrestricted apps. You can now make Skype calls on your iPhone over 3G and Edge while jamming AT&T’s crummy network. That is, if you can even get reception.

This video tutorial will show those who wish to get internet tethering on their iPhone 3G or 3GS with OS version 3.0 and 3.0.1, without having to jailbreak their device. This is a free modification to your iPhone.
Internet tethering enables you to connect your iPhone to your computer/laptop and use the internet connection from AT&T’s 3g network. This allows you to have an internet connection for your laptop anywhere that WiFi is not available, but 3G or EDGE is.

3G Unrestrictor is a Cydia App that allows you to trick your iPhone into thinking it is on wi-fi when it is on an Edge or 3g network, this allows you to do many things such as watch high quality YouTube videos, make calls on Skype and download files over 10 MB from the App Store.

This is a tutorial on How To Jailbreak all devices using BlackRa1n. This is very easy for all iPod Touch users. You couldn’t imagine an easier jailbreak. The iPod Touch 3G is a tethered Jailbreak meaning that once you turn it off you can’t get it back on again without connecting it to your computer and running BlackRa1n again. more info at the bottom.
iPhone users, it is a little more complicated. If you rely on Ultrasn0w for you network connections then do not update to 3.1.2. Don’t do anything just stay on the firmware and baseband that you are on now. If you are on an official carrier then go ahead it’s fine.
What is a tethered jailbreak:-
When you Jailbreak your iPod Touch 3G with Blackra1n it will mean that it becomes a tethered jailbreak. It can run on it’s own however it may need the support of a computer, hence the name tethered. If you device goes off then you won’t be able to get ti back on again without plugging it back into the computer.

GeoHot screen does not appear, therefore, meaning no jailbreak

Get MMS on iPhone 3G for Tmobile on 3.0 OS FW
This works on T-Mobile’s Network only
Add these to MMS Settings in: Settings-General-Network-Cellular Data Network
Add this in MMS field:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
MMS Max Message Size: leave blank
MMS UA Prof URL: leave blank
Then reboot your iPhone.
Then the picture icon will show up in the Messages App.
This allows you to send pictures, video and audio messages for the same price as a text.
There is no additional charge for MMS on T-Mobile’s Network. Same price as sending a text.
