This is a quick video talking about AT&T’s latest announcement. They have announced that they will be making a 4g network by 2011. The offical date of release is not yet determend. This will have some very advanced features like 7 mbps of internet speed. Currently on t-mobile i get only 2.4 mbps of internet speed so that as you can tell is very low compared to the 7 mbps that is expectied. Also there upload speeds will be very fast. So i will keep you guys posted on this.

December 14:th 2009 TeliaSonera is launching the world first 4G/LTE network in Norway and Sweden. The two pioneering 4G city networks cover the central city areas of Stockholm and Oslo and will be used for mobile data. 4G is the fastest mobile technology available on the market, with speeds up to ten times higher than todays turbo 3G.

Testing the 4G LTE network deployed by Telia in December of 2009. Test was conducted on the 3rd of February, 2010.
Network deployment is very small, serving only 4 pockets of coverage around Stockholm city. It works on a 10MHz wide frequency band in the 2600MHz range, delivering up to 50Mbps downlink speeds (Norway uses 20MHz wide frequency, delivering up to 100Mbps).
Samsung modem model is GT-B3710. It requires 5V input and requires 550mA of current.
Modem contains a SIM card holder along with 2 inputs for an external antenna (under plastic bottom for the SIM card holder).
