What is the best UK MObile network?

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

I have heard Orange are the best for signal as they say "We aim to put more transmitters in more places than any other network" but i have also heard That orange will not work as well underground or in tall buildings as it is a GSM-1800 network just like T-Mobile whereas 02 And Vodafone Are GSM-900 And i know they are not best for price. But 2G signal is the best right??

GSM – Orange
WCDMA or 3G – O2

2G and 3g network have no comparisons. You have to check your needs as if you need high speed internet access you shall go for 3G.
3G signals also don’t have any drawbacks, but remember there are always exceptions.

What mobile network is going to be first for 4G in the UK?

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

I have read that Verizon in US is ready for 2010 but cant see who for Uk

The emergency service already have a 4g network and its called TETRA.. however due to ignorance many people are objecting to antennas as they are scared of tetra radiation (I wasn’t aware the number 4 was toxic or radioactive).

O2 has already gone into Alpha trials on this and is sharing the network with Vodafone to reduce costs.
